East Londoner, Drey Cheekz is an RnB songstress with sultry and soulful vocals. She also indulges in urban pop from time to time. Artists such as, Jhene Aiko, Kehlani, H.E.R and more, heavily influence Cheekz. When music was the dream she decided to pursue, she hit the ground running in 2013 by writing and releasing her own material to the public. In August 2016, Drey released ‘Last Laugh’ a four track EP that introduced heartbreak, intimacy and feistiness in a cheeky fashion. With months spent hibernating in the studio, dedicating time and effort to her artistry it is quite evident to say the work has been paying off and the proof is in the pudding. This brought on her second EP ‘Crossover’ which she released a year later in August 2017. Her single ‘I Bring Me’ features on this project and earned her radio plays on BBC 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, Radar and more. Not to mention she also has 180K plays in total on her sound cloud page. In 2018, Drey added to her music catalogue with her vibrant new single called ‘Flexin’, this is her latest release out now on all digital platforms. This single displays just how much fun that Drey mentions she wants to have with her music, and push herself out of her comfort zone, the title speaks for itself. She is continuing to write more music to release this year and work on releasing new visuals for the near future. Stay Tuned.
